Steel drum — When this makes sense

- Consumption after opening is slow and quality would suffer in a large open container
- Receiving sites cannot handle a full pallet-load container

- One production area draws the material down steadily
- Handling equipment and clearance are already there
- Fewer, larger receipts would reduce handling
