Tapered / Nesting Pail
A small container, generally under 7 gallons, with a tapered body so empties nest.
It suits smaller batch sizes and sample or specialty volumes without shipping air.
Carton IBC / Bag-in-Box
A corrugated outer body on a pallet base with a liner bag inside, shipped flat and assembled at the filling line.
It brings intermediate bulk volume without the empty-return burden of a rigid tank.
The honest trade-off
For non-hazardous liquids, carton IBCs remove the empty return. Where UN ratings or reuse loops apply, steel drums do the work — tapered ones return the empties in a fraction of the space.
